Cette exposition propose une exp\u00e9rience immersive, le public \u00e9tant invit\u00e9 \u00e0 entrer dans l&rsquo;espace de la Vitrine afin d\u2019explorer la relation symbolique entre la pluralit\u00e9 des voix autochtones et la coh\u00e9sion des harmonies sonores.<\/p><p>Deux plateformes circulaires \u00e9mettent lorsqu\u2019on les effleure des harmonies sonores s\u2019unissant les unes aux autres. Deux \u0153uvres circulaires allient les \u00e9l\u00e9ments typiques d\u2019un feu de camp \u2013 la pierre et le bois \u2013 symbole de partage de connaissances et de rites. L\u2019une \u00e9met des notes vocales soutenues, inspir\u00e9es des gammes pentatoniques mineures am\u00e9rindiennes, cr\u00e9ant un ensemble d\u2019harmonies riches et denses qui forment un tout. L\u2019autre r\u00e9pond par des tonalit\u00e9s organiques naturelles et v\u00e9g\u00e9tales. Inspir\u00e9e par la nature et ses repr\u00e9sentations mystiques dans la culture et par la symbolique du tambour et des sph\u00e8res dans la culture, cette installation sonore interactive incarne les vibrations de la vie et l&rsquo;unification des voix, un dialogue entre l\u2019homme et la terre, une r\u00e9flexion autour d\u2019un feu \u00ab d\u00e9construit \u00bb.<\/p><p><em>Conversation with Falling Spheres<\/em>\u00a0s&rsquo;inscrit dans le premier cycle th\u00e9matique de la programmation Fronti\u00e8re, propos\u00e9e par TOPO pour 2019-2021. \u00ab Cultures, langages, spiritualit\u00e9s: au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res \u00bb r\u00e9unit trois artistes issus de la pluralit\u00e9 des Am\u00e9riques qui explorent la reconqu\u00eate des racines et des h\u00e9ritages, multidisciplinaire (musique, chant, arts visuels et multim\u00e9dias) originaire du Canada. Elle d\u00e9tient un baccalaur\u00e9at en beaux-arts et musique de l\u2019universit\u00e9 Concordia. Ayant \u00e9tudi\u00e9 pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es les arts visuels et la musique, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment le chant, sa d\u00e9marche artistique a converg\u00e9 vers ces deux pratiques. C&rsquo;est d&rsquo;abord la sc\u00e8ne qu&rsquo;elle aura investi, puis la composition en studio pour ensuite s&rsquo;int\u00e9resser au domaine des arts visuels et num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Influenc\u00e9e par son parcours en musique, plus sp\u00e9cifiquement en musiques du monde, l\u2019artiste explore la mise en parall\u00e8le et la compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 de mati\u00e8res organiques avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments num\u00e9riques. Au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, elle a investi les arts num\u00e9riques et cr\u00e9\u00e9 notamment\u00a0<em>Holodio<\/em>, une station sonore ambiante et narrative incluant une application mobile visant \u00e0 \u00e9veiller les sens et l&rsquo;imaginaire de ses auditeurs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Plus r\u00e9cemment, elle a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 des notions d\u2019\u00e9lectronique dans sa d\u00e9marche et cr\u00e9\u00e9 des installations sonores tactiles inspir\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments organiques.
